From tucking in simple fresh greens to swapping out your standing accessories for some over-the-top holiday decor, make your mantelscape an inviting focal point this winter with DECO's top tips.

START WITH AN ANCHOR PIECE/FOCAL POINT
Place a stylish mirror as the focal point above the mantel, reflecting the warmth of the season into your living room. Let the mirror serve as a backdrop, allowing your decor to evolve with the seasons, and giving a look of seasonal change to your home. From here, decorate the space on either side of the mirror with decorative pieces for a finished look.
PRO TIP:
Use art above the mantel and instantly breathe new life into the space. Simply pick a large art piece as your focal point – hang it or lean it against the wall above your mantel. Choose one that you can effortlessly switch out for seasonal art, for a seamless transition that captures the essence of each season.

BRING IN NATURE'S GLAM
Mantelscape with a fresh garland made of evergreens, or even faux eucalyptus leaves woven with evergreens, and draped evenly across the mantel. You can also add a wreath above the mantel or choose to complete the look with pinecones, mini trees and any other nature-inspired elements!

ADD IN LAYERS
Decorate your mantel with a collection of similar items, like large candleholders and pillar candles, to build on your focal point. Layer in groupings of the same decor.
